Homeland Vinyl Products announced on June 16, 2026, that it will expand its manufacturing footprint in Hawkins County, Tennessee, by purchasing an additional facility in Surgoinsville. The company plans to invest $5.5 million in the new plant located on Industrial Drive and create 50 new jobs. This marks the third expansion for Homeland Vinyl Products in Tennessee since relocating to the state in 2015.

What it means

The acquisition of the Surgoinsville facility allows Homeland Vinyl Products to establish new grinding operations at the site. The expansion adds to the company’s existing presence in the state; Homeland Vinyl Products previously expanded in 2017 and 2020. The Tennessee Valley Authority and Holston Electric Cooperative partnered with the Hawkins County Industrial Development Board, Networks Sullivan Partnership, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to support the expansion.
