Lefko USA Inc., a subsidiary of Centrik Capital, Inc., will establish its first U.S.-based manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, Texas, the Office of Governor Greg Abbott announced September 30, 2025. The plant will specialize in custom blow molding for medium to large plastic parts serving the recreation, powersports, medical, industrial, and trucking sectors. The project carries more than $15 million in capital investment and will create 149 new jobs. Lefko previously operated outside of Canada before selecting New Braunfels for its first American location.
What it means
The New Braunfels facility brings Lefko’s custom blow-molding capacity into the U.S. market for the first time. Texas extended a Texas Enterprise Fund grant of $968,500 to support the project, and Lefko has also been offered a $19,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. CEO Eric Blondeau said in the announcement that Texas’s central location and the state’s commitment to advanced manufacturing provided the competitive advantage needed to serve national and global markets, and that collaboration with New Braunfels city leaders and the state was the deciding factor in the site selection.
