Pharmavite LLC held the grand opening of a new manufacturing and research and development facility in New Albany, Ohio, on May 15, 2025. The company announced that the 225,000-square-foot plant is already producing products ready for sale, marking the completion of a project that broke ground in 2023.
What it means
The facility adds 225 jobs and represents a $250 million investment by Pharmavite, which stated the expansion is intended to meet growing demand for its Nature Made vitamins. According to the company, Nature Made was the number one dollar-growth brand across vitamin gummies in 2024, a category that has nearly doubled in size since 2019. The new plant includes a Gummies Innovation Center of Excellence and complements existing production lines for Nature Made, Bonafide, Nature Made Wellblends, Equelle, MegaFood, and Uqora brands.
Pharmavite described the location as part of an emerging science, innovation, and technology hub in Central Ohio. The company credited JobsOhio, One Columbus, the City of New Albany, and Turner Construction with helping make the facility possible. Mayor Sloan Spalding said the investment “reinforces the momentum we’re seeing in our growing Health and Life Sciences cluster within the New Albany International Business Park.”
